General Description

  • Wind load rated for light-duty use in carports, barns, sheds, and self-storage.
  • Well-suited for use in HVHZ (High-Velocity Hurricane Zones) and is Miami-Dade Certified.
  • Available in sizes up to 8’8″ wide and 12’0″ high.

Curtain

  • 24-gauge corrugated door curtain made from galvanized grade 80 steel.
  • Coated with super durable polyester paint and is available in white only.
  • Features 11-gauge metal wind locks for strength on all opening widths.
  • Full-height felt tape on the inside of the curtain prevents nesting and reduces paint rubbing.

Guides

  • Roll-formed from 12-gauge galvanized steel.
  • Features a universal mount, 4″ deep design for various applications.
  • Fitted with dual polyethylene wear strips to reduce friction and muffle door noises.

Bottom Bar

  • Roll-formed from clear acrylic-coated galvanized steel.
  • Reinforced with a 1-1/2″ x 1-1/2″ x 12-gauge full-width galvanized angle.
  • A PVC bulb astragal provides positive contact with the floor.
  • Includes exterior lift handles and an interior non-rotting pull rope.

Hardware

  • Factory-installed, 16-gauge galvanized reinforced brackets.
  • Galvanized, guide-mounted head stops prevent curtain over-travel.
  • A factory-installed ratchet tensioner allows for easy spring adjustment from one end in 1/8″ increments.
  • A yellow zinc-coated steel 4-bolt latch is factory installed.
  • The latch accepts all industry padlocks, has provisions for a cylinder lock, and features a magnetic slide for security sensors.

Axle/Torque Tube

  • A 9-1/2″ full-width galvanized steel spiral barrel encloses the dead axle, drums, and springs.
  • Pre-lubricated, oil-tempered helical torsion springs conform to ASTM A 229.
  • Drums are fitted with grease-filled, shielded radial ball bearings to reduce friction

Options

  • An insulated version is available, which includes side and top draft stops.
  • An optional stainless steel latch is available.
  • Available with push-up or electric operation.
